HideOut Youth Zone is an official supporter of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter.
As of June 2022, HideOut Youth Zone has officially become a supporter of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter.
The Charter is a voluntary membership and assessment scheme, which aims to improve employment standards for all organisations of any size or sector across Greater Manchester. The Charter sets out seven key characteristics of good employment:
- secure work
- flexible work
- real living wage
- excellent people management
- workplace engagement and voice
- excellent recruitment and progression
- a healthy and productive workplace
Supporters of the Charter are employers that have made a commitment to improving practice in all characteristics of good employment.
The Good Employment Charter encourages and supports employers to develop good jobs, deliver opportunities for people to progress, and help employers in the city-region grow and succeed.
CEO of HideOut Youth Zone, Adam Farricker, said:
“The HideOut team put their wholehearted passion into ensuring we achieve what we set out to achieve – ensuring young people have somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to.
“As a Supporter of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter, we are committed to elevating our employment standards for all our staff here at HideOut. We couldn’t do what we do without them, so they deserve a workplace that is committed to thriving for excellence”.
