In September, HideOut Youth Zone teamed up with Z-arts, a charity dedicated to offering best practice in children and young people’s creative provision, for a brand new 12 week project, Band of Boroughs.
Band of Boroughs gave our members the opportunity to learn new music skills, have a go at playing an instrument they’ve never played before and create a band, performing LIVE at Z-arts in December.
It was amazing to see the young people develop their skills over the 12 week project and end it with an incredible performance.

This project was an amazing way for our young people to introduce themselves to live music and the preparation, determination and ambition that it takes to create it.
