Mark Flanagan is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played as a loose forward or second-row forward in the Super League and the NRL, and the England Knights at the international level. Mark opened an independent coffee shop with former Saints teammate Jon Wilkin in Manchester city centre.
Mark decided to use his own testimonial events to fundraise for HideOut Youth Zone after visiting the centre. Mark was blown away with what the provision could provide and with his fundraising what changes it could make to the young people who are members at #HideOutYZ.
Head of Development Richard Driffield had this to say about Marks incredible fundraising efforts:
“Mark has shown incredible generosity helping not one but two charities in his testimonial events. All three events were an excellent opportunity to showcase both HideOut Youth Zone and Madlo Youth Zone to an audience that might not have heard about us, thank you, Mark!”

A massive thank you to Mark Flanagan for using his testimonial to fundraise for HideOut Youth Zone & Madlo Youth Zone. This generosity will help support young people across Manchester.
