HideOut Youth Zone CEO, Adam Farricker, is an official Northern Gamechanger 2022.
On Wednesday 14th September, it was announced that HideOut Youth Zone CEO, Adam Farricker, had been officially recognised as a ‘Northern Gamechanger 2022’.
‘Northern Gamechangers’ is a new business awards programme by Elevate GM aiming to celebrate the champions of purpose-driven business in Greater Manchester and using business as a force for good.
Winners of the Northern Gamechanger award are said to excel in areas including sustainability, decarbonisation, social mobility, diversity and inclusion or charitable partnerships.
Adam was among 40 finalists shortlisted back in July 2022 and is one of the ten announced winners at the awards evening.
Judges of the awards included The Manc Group Managing Director, Anna Gledson, Capital & Centric Co-founder, Tim Heatley, Founder of SA Consulting, Sharon Amesu, and Director of Manchester Fuel Cell Innovation Centre, Amer Gaffar.
Judges shared insight into why Adam was chosen as a winner:

Speaking of his win, HideOut Youth Zone CEO, Adam Farricker said:

Adam, former Head of Youth Strategy and Engagement at Manchester City Council, was appointed CEO of HideOut Youth Zone in January 2019. He has over 20 years of experience in leading and managing youth projects and has a keen interest in bringing communities together in support of young people.
