 Join us for an action-packed agenda, full of exciting activities at HideOut Youth Zone’s May Holiday Club! From sports to arts, music to cooking, there is something fun for everyone to enjoy!

JUNIOR MAY HOLIDAY CLUB (8-12 YEAR OLDS)

Our Junior May Holiday Club is running 8am-1pm on: 

   Tuesday 26th May – Friday 29th May

It is £12 for the day, which includes breakfast, lunch and a snack.

Menu for the week:

  • Tuesday: Chicken/Veggie Nuggets, Wedges, Beans & Mixed Veg
  • Wednesday: Jacket Potatoes with various fillings
  • Thursday: Spaghetti Bolognese, Veggie Bolognese, Garlic Bread
  • Friday: Chilli nachos – add your own toppings! 
 

Schedule of the week:

  • Tuesday Football Camp Day: A football‑themed day with skills, games, design, and baking activities. Please bring boots (no metal studs) and water to keep you well-hydrated for the day!
  • Wednesday Arts Takeover Day: Green screen fun, crafts, face paint, a day perfect for art lovers!
  • Thursday Crazy Science Day: Become mini scientists with hands‑on experiments, explosive fun, and team science games! 
  • Friday Colour Wars DayTeam games all day to earn points, with prizes for the winning colour. Battle of the colours!

We also offer a number of free HAF spaces to members who meet the eligibility criteria.

SUBSIDISED SPACES FORM

To enquire about a subsidised space, your young person must meet the following criteria:

Junior Club: aged 8-12, on free school meals, lives in a Manchester postcode.

Senior Club: aged 13-16, on free school meals, lives in a Manchester postcode, or has additional needs or a disability.

JUNIOR HOLIDAY CLUB FAQs

Holiday Club places are £12 per day, which includes breakfast, lunch and a snack!

From April 2026, our Holiday Club day will be changing to run from 8am-1pm.

Drop off will be 8am-9am and collection time will be 1pm.

Yes, young people are able to return to the Youth Zone for the evening session. However, they are not permitted to remain on site during the hours in between.

Yes, you can cancel a booking and get a full refund as long as this is no later than 3 working days before the booking date. After this time we would not be able to issue a refund. (Refunds can take up to 10 working days to complete)

Yes, you can move a booking up to 3 working days before the original date and only if there is space available on the new date.

We encourage all young people to leave their devices at home, if they need to get in contact with you they can phone from our reception phone. If they do bring a device, they will only be allowed to use it during certain times of the day when other technology is available (young people are responsible for any device they bring).

Children can arrive later than their session start time, however they may miss breakfast if they arrive after 9.15am

Yes, collection time is 1pm however if your child needs to leave before this, this is absolutely fine!

HideOut’s holiday club is for 8 – 12-year-old members. 

Breakfast, lunch and a snack is included.

Yes – please let our team know about your child’s requirements when you book onto Holiday Club or by contacting the Youth Zone on 0161 511 3777.

Children should wear comfortable clothing that is suitable for them to take part in activities such as team sports and arts & crafts. They may also need any weather appropriate items such as a waterproof jacket.

All activities and meals are included in the Holiday Club session. Our tuck shop will be open, serving drinks and snacks, so members can bring a few £’s if they want an extra snack.

Yes, all our provision is inclusive! If your child needs extra support, please let us know in advance by filling in an “all about me” form.
